Do you like paperwork? Or hate it perhaps?

Usually, I like paperwork as it can be treated as documentation. But I hate it when I need to do fake documentation for the work I have not done, or barely did it.

Our college is making us write either a research paper or a survey paper in our internship. All of us are really pissed at college. This is what I call petty behaviour.

I mean, we all are kind of busy with our internships. A simple internship report should suffice. But these people want a whole research paper on what we do in our internships. The organizations are extremely secretive about what they share with us, and these people want a research paper on that.

They just want to print papers in the name of the college, nothing else. These papers do not even count in serious research when surveys are conducted by governing bodies. A complete waste of time, and energy.

Are all universities like this?

Yes, most higher education institutions seem to be obsessed with reports and documentation.

By ghostwriting? I know a few people. She completed a thesis for a working doctor. She is a top grade doctor herself.

In school I did administrative work for some of the teachers, and then did paperwork for 22 years in the Navy including speechwriting, ghostwriting everything (letters, emails, presentations, reports, whatever) for a series of admirals, and then worked on Capitol Hill for a lobbyist.

I cannot imagine what you must be going through. Although it is bearable, still, it is a pain even when you are in the process.

Yep. When you have to have 4 copies of everything, it creates a lot of work.

I didn't have an internship, but I know what you're talking about. I have friends who had to write reports about their internship and it wasn't easy. I wrote many research papers, some were easier than others, but all of them made me work hard.

I guess, you just have to do what they're asking you, for the sake of your degree.
