You pretty much get one shot at life and then thats it, if you take a job stacking shelves and you dont get out of it fast enough then tough shit, it doesn't matter what you can do you are never getting out of it.

The problem being that society is absolutely fucked up and completely controlled by and for the rich exclusively, it does not have normal peoples best interests in mind.

By making sure that there are always a bunch of people at the bottom who have nothing and no hope of ever getting out of the pit you can keep everyone else working hard as obident slaves.

I don’t think they care about your time off works more so than they care about your experience doing the job they paying you to do. The only experience trumps literally almost everything else.

The person would have to bring a hell of a lot of skillset to the table and convince them that despite being out of work for a long time, they have the qualities necessary to take on the role at the job which will not be an easy feat at all. They would really have to speak to their past experiences to sell it on home and hopefully they have been at their past jobs long enough to really sell it.

I'm almost 32 and just about to start my first paying job. So, obviously, all my interviewers asked why I never held a paying job. If you've been unemployed for a longer time than seems normal (considering the circumstances, COVID-19 makes it different than normal), don't be surprised that you'll be asked that. If it's not a detriment to what you're applying for, it won't affect whether or not they hire you.
