I applied to a job about 6 months ago.

Apparently they rang me but I don't remember.

I ignored the email. as I wasn't sure later if I want the job.

They are re-advertising for the same job as the person got a promotion.

I was thinking, should I change my email address and pretend I didn't see the other email from 6 months ago or would that be embarrassing?

I like the job I applied for at the time, jobs were low 6 months ago so thought I would be better off where I am now.

Where I am now, my manager is toxic so I want to leave.
