Would you say yes to a job offer right away? If not, why?

What are the things you need to consider before saying yes or signing a job offer contract?

Job offers don't just appear, so you would have already asked teh company if they were interested in hiring you. In that case, you already know something about the company and have completed an interview. Your decision to accept of reject the job offer comes down to preference. Is it a job you like? Are there advancement possibilities? How stable is the company? Is the salary what you want? Do you fully understand where you will be working and what your responsibilities are?

If all of those questions, plus any others you might have, are positive, then accept the offer... why wait? If any of the questions gives a neutral or negative response, let the company know that you are interested and that you will get back to them in a few days. Job offers are usually good for at least a week.

I might especially after doing more research. Try to especially get peoples word of mouth about it cause they know what its truly like to work there. You dont want some bot telling you how great it is when its not like that at all lol. So yeah more research is best before accepting in my opinion

I want to know the pay, the hours during training and after, and if overtime will be mandatory or voluntary. I need to know if the job is remote, hybrid or in person. I need to know if i’ll have guidance or be thrown to the wolves and so much more

No I always check the contract deeply and really think it over, I got a lot of options and I get very personal with my work so picking the right place is importent for me

Firstly the starting date 📅 of the new job as you need to be able to give your notice to your current employer. The remuneration package... is it sufficient what they are offering etc.

Benefits, location, salary, job security, and stuff like that. If I've already applied, then I know the answers to those questions. So if I interviewed because I applied and then I'm offered the job, I accept it.

Obviously there's a lot that goes into it; Salary, location, remote work, bonus, what project, is it fun, what position, can I grow there, are they ethical, do they have a good reputation..
