Stories like this always make me laugh & it saddens me to say & I have to ask the following question. Why the flock did you wait so long instead of calling to see if you got or didn’t get the job? If you want the job go get it & show the employer that you are interested in the position. A day after your interview you should of called & if they didn’t get back to you call again & if they still don’t get back to you go down to the company & talk to someone. If they happen to tell you that the position was filled thank them & ask them if there are any other positions in their company or if they know of anyone else hiring. Follow up, follow up, follow up.
