Is three days too late to hear good feedback from a job interview with HR?

I did an interview on Monday, and hr gave positive feedback as his first impression and told me the hiring manager also liked my resume etc. He told me they would provide feedback quickly, it is going to be three days in a couple of hours today, and I still received nothing from their side. Do you think I can still receive good news regarding the next steps in the process?

Not necessarily too late. Sometimes they're still reviewing other candidates, or just going through the process. I remember interviewing for a job that didn't get back to me for like 2 weeks and said I got the job. That's bad hiring etiquette, but sometimes that's how it is. If it takes a long time like that for them to get back to you it's probably because somebody just quit or got fired and you were the next best option, or some manager or HR person just got back from vacation.

I would say if you don't hear anything back by mid next week, call it a loss and apply to the next job.

Waiting at least a week is reasonable. Some companies take a month to get back to you, having to deal with other applicants, effects of hiring on budgets, paperwork, etc.

of course, dont panic, just be patient, there are never guarantees but these things usually do take time, no job was promised to you so never fully expect it

Depends on the job because a lot of jobs they could have a 100 people to interview. So HR could still he interviewing people.

No. tjhere might be more interviews that they are conducting, or somebody is on vacation, or they cannot make u their mind, or any one of a dozen other things. Just hang tight.

I didn't hear back from this job for a month and I actually got hired for that one.

I don't know the number of candidates but it was the first stage of the process.

I would say past a week of hearing nothing would mean u didn't get it

No, it can take up to one week or more.
