Yet this sentence is right and you know it is.
Native English speakers, you know that this sentence is wrong but can you tell me why it's?

Yet this sentence is right and you know it is.
You can only use it's when something comes after it. Like "it's cold" But when it's at the end of a sentence it doesn't work because then there's no real ending. If you'd try and say this sentence it would be very weird.
The "is" loses its emphasis, which it would otherwise have and which is required in that construction.

"It's" is possessive.
It is
It’s incomplete, as it starts with a continuation.
