Wisdom you heard from a senior or a young one?

This advice I got from my great grandmother that lived from 1881-1992
She told me this shorty before she died and I remember this very well
"You're all grown up now. Your life is just starting and mine is coming to an end. There is one thing I want you to know, I seen a lot and lived though a lot. I lived my life to the fullest I can and had my ups and downs.
I told you my stories of my life so you can pass them on, because my history is history book. I am the living history book that will soon come to an end.
Add my stories and tell your history to the younger ones. Write them down so you can, so you don't forget.
People will want to know what it used to be like.
Never forget your history."
6 months later she died at the age of 111 years old.
So the best advice is listen to older generation before its too late. They are real unfiltered and real Truth of history
thanks
wow long life eh
she was blessed
we need the tip on how to get to 100 let alone 111 💝
Always remember your past, share your past and record your past
"they're all the same" (reflective tone emotionless). Or maybe I heard it from a movie lol. But it's the sort of thing sometimes I think myself, how so often, everyone's the same, and not always in a good light, like, rude people. 😬
My cousin said if you want something sacrifice yourself cause nobody feels sorry for you if you don’t change things.
