I read that people who work in media and sports news casting have the highest rates of suicide.

I read bar tenders have one of the highest rates of depression and I read farmers and personal trainers and computer technology guys have one of the highest job satisfaction rates.

I think immediate gratification short circuits the spiritual dimensions of life and empties you of all human concerns so that you act and reason like an animal. That might be why people who operate by indulgent lifestyles have higher suicide rates than janitors or garbage collectors or nurses etc…

I do not believe doctors have high suicide rates because the books I read said helping others is good for your mental and physical health.

Why do you view media and sports new casting as self indulgent? The top jobs with the highest suicide rates are Doctors, Dentists, Police Offers and Veterinarians. The ones you listed are not even in the top 10 and nowhere close. Why focus on them?

lol you could just reply to me instead of updating your post. Think harder, they are in a position to help others but can't fully do that. It's the way the world is structured right now with corporate boundaries. That's why the top 5 professions that have the highest suicide rate are all professions that are able to help others. Not to insult you, this is not something to argue about. It's fact. You can confirm it 1000x over across multiple websites and sites that list real scientific studies. (not news articles)

Helping others is good for your mental health. The people in doctor and caretaker jobs cannot help others to their full ability because we live in a world that puts money over helping others. It's a serious problem.
