Choice: is the decision to choose and choose not the Thing before you. Hen one chooses not the Thing before them…at that Determination…at the Crux of “ignoring Thing” is a Choice. I chose not to take and press the trigger at the school.

Happiness, as well as saddened…pain are secondary effect from a Choice. First Cause is Choice made from Situation yielding a secondary effect in Doing or emotion or senses.

Happiness is caused by neurotransmitters whose production is already predetermined by evolution, you can choose to enter circumstances that lead to the production of certain neurotransmitters, but you cannot choose which circumstances produce them.

In some cases it is a choice. It depends on what would make you happy. You can go out of your way to obtain that happiness. When you're in a depression, you Have to. It's a choice. But it can prove to be difficult when the person doesn't see the result right away.
