If someone is unemployed do you assume they are lazy?

I don’t have a job currently I just graduated. But even before I’ve never had a job somehow. I don’t really see a problem with someone not having a job even if they’re like 30+ unless they have children or something. In my eyes being unemployed and being lazy are two distinct realities that may co exist but not always- someone can just not have a job it’s not a big deal to me.

Are you currently looking? If not you are kind of setting yourself up to become lazy. I understand school is hard (I am in school) but you can easily become too comfortable with doing nothing and that can become problematic overtime.

The reason why people associate this with laziness is because you are most likely not doing anything else with your time, and that’s literally the definition of lazy. It’s no different when employed people take “lazy days” we call them lazy days because we do what’s called nothing.
