If you never really had to work hard for anything, is it common to be lazy?

This might sound stupid but I didn't learn how to cook or clean a bathroom until age 30. Sometimes I can still be a bit messy but with clear goals, I'm improving.

I never really had to struggled in life, never lived in poverty and my parents spoiled me. For instance during my HS years and first years of college, I would just come home to a cleaned home and my meal served. Either that if I had to go to work, my mother would make my lunchbox.

If someone had this type of upbringing, is it common to be lazy?

not sure... that is just two chores...

you still had a job and went to work, right?

you went school and went college as well... that's another kind of "work" right?

Yes I'm still working. I have a job and I'm planning to grow a food business. I actually want to be a business owner. I'm tired of working for someone else.
Yes I went to and graduated from college but I'm not working on my major.

Ok thank you. Though during my younger years, I expected my parents to clean and serve my meals. I didn't really help them too much with household chores. I was lazy in that aspect. Plus I used to played checkers online and other games. In that regard, I wasn't acting more mature.

well... that was before and when you were younger too

and maybe you say that you expected your parents to take care of those things for you, however... it could also be like your parents did NOT expect you to bother with those things and therefore never made you do those things, if they wanted you to do all those chores, they would have put you to do all those things, they were the adults and the parents, not you

playing some games is fine, everyone needs hobbies, especially if you're going to school and college and all that

and for some perspective... I used to do many chores around the house, but I did not finish college, and I didn't have a "real job" till I was 22 years old, lol

today though, I do have my own business... just like you're planning to go with in the future
