+1 yAt 2:44 it is wildly inaccurate to tell a kid that "both sides of the gym" are going to clamor to get you to come over. The reality is you're going to get mocked by both sides, which, when life doesn't fit the narrative, there's a lot of internal struggle and schools get shot up. Great job breaking it, hero.

+1 yNo, any book should be allowed to be discussed by students and teachers.

+1 yAs I see it, as alternative genders become more visible you need to educate kids as to why they're seeing men in dresses in a simple way as possible.
Firing the teacher seems more politically minded to appease Sabre rattling far right parents.20 Reply
WTF why fired? This book is fine its child-friendly and easy to understand. If someone disagrees with it in class than just discuss the topic, thats what schools are made for.

You can read more about it here:
www.splcenter.org/.../georgia-teacher-fired-reading-childrens-book-about-acceptance-class
"Rinderle is the first known public school teacher to be fired under Georgia’s trio of censorship laws passed in 2022. They are the Protect Students’ Rights Act, commonly known as the “divisive concepts” law; a “Parents’ Bill of Rights;” and one known as the “harmful to minors law,” which allows for the removal or restriction of materials parents deem “pornographic” or otherwise harmful. Together, the laws censor class discussion, give parents the right to refuse instruction they disagree with and ban “offensive” reading materials from school libraries. If Rinderle’s experience is any indication, she will not be the last to be terminated, advocates say."

The Shadow knows…hahahahahahaha. Yeah sure I’m guessing shadows are our sexuality?10 ReplyNo, the teacher should have gotten a stern talking to about not pushing a political agenda. Reading this book was inappropriate but at least it was not pornographic like these other weirdo books.

So more lies to advance your political agenda.

I thought the fact that the organisation he was CEO of wasn't DQSH was a fairly important detail. Smearing everyone involved on the basis of a single example is just stupid, and you did it twice in one meme.
Have you considered the possibility that if you have to lie to try to make your political points, they might not be as strong arguments as you seem to think?
(Oh, and Cream City is a nickname for Milwaukee, nothing sexual at all.) - +1 y
Well done! You found both of them (from 2019). Now explain why (or deny that) you think they represent all of the people involved in DQSH, or maybe all trans people, or is it all people who support trans people?
One article I came across talks about a city stopping renting out its library rooms for events in 2019 because they were spending tens of thousands on security. That's not because of some people reading stories to children their parents bring along, it's because of the danger of people acting on the kind of slurs and lies you're peddling.

So nudism is also pedophilia, to go along with being trans, gay, or a Democrat? More generally anyone who disagrees with your personal standards. Funny how that works.
You still didn't explain why you think they represent all of the people involved in DQSH, or maybe all trans people, or is it all people who support trans people. You're obviously not denying it.
What you're doing is endangering people who are doing nothing wrong. - +1 y
Nope. Not unless it was in some way sexual and aimed at the child. Amazingly enough, the sight of a naked adult does not scar a child for life. Stupid reactions by adults like you do.
There are about 30 million gay people and 3 million trans people in the United States. You finding a couple of examples of sexual predators and a couple of dozen (to be generous) people who disagree with your idea that no child should ever see a naked body is not a reason to paint a target on their backs, especially as EVERY group has the same assholes: priests, pastors, teachers, Republican lawmakers, Democratic lawmakers, soldiers, judges, gym coaches, etc. - +1 y
You still haven't addressed the point that there are actual paedophiles in all those groups I mentioned, but you're only interested in the one group you don't like and using it to tar them all with the same brush.
You don't do the same with priests, pastors, teachers, Republican lawmakers, Democratic lawmakers, soldiers, judges, gym coaches, etc.. Wait, you'll do it with Democrats, despite at least one Republican representative literally admitting in court that he had sexually abused boys (and another one accused of refusing to act when boys came to him for help when they were being abused).
You're just using the term as a weapon. It would be pathetic if it wasn't so dangerous.
To be clear: do you think the sight of a naked adult scars a child for life? - +1 y
You're trying to distract away from the main issue when those groups are not public exhibitionist and are not brainwashing our youth for a life of misery and pharmaceutical dependency. It's these queer fuckers that are exposing themselves in public and coming after children. They literally chant they are coming for our kids lol.

Someone's really done a number on you if you think nudity is the same as sexual abuse.
You're still avoiding the point that there are actual paedophiles in all groups, including Republican lawmakers, but you're only interested in destroying this one group you don't like (which seems to include everyone you disagree with) and using it to tar them all with the same brush.
You don't like Pride marches? Fine, don't go to one. You're all about parent's rights unless it's something you disagree with.

Should this Texas teacher have been fired for reading from an unabridged version of Anne Frank to eighth graders?
