Why is this guy coworker who I work with keeps checking on me and stuff?

He came that one day quite often to check up on me and told me that all he been hearing about is good stuff about me, he was referring to the new job I was training to do he decided to tell me what the higher management said about me, I said that’s good to hear thanks for update, and he kept checking up on me and stuff yet he is just a same worker as me technically and he is married so I don't know why he kept checking up snd stuff bc he is the only one who seems to bother to update me I guess..

I think he definitely likes you in some way. Obviously if its sexual then it's weird given the circumstances but it could be a different kind of attraction in the sense that he sees you like his daughter/the daughter he never had which I get is equally weird. At the end of the day, it's strange behaviour either way.
