Why is this guy from my job starting to bother me all of a sudden?

There’s a guy at work around my age who works in the kitchen I sit at the front desk as a receptionist and he’s started teasing me lately. It’s not hurtful teasing he’s a really nice guy and is nice to all the staff and the older patients we work with. At first he pretended to get my name wrong and did it a few times over the course over a couple of days and he looked at me smiling to see my reaction and I smiled back and rolled my eyes. Then after a couple of days he was like “alright, I’ll stop now.” And he did the next few days he was just being regular nice to me and yesterday he had to run back into the kitchen to get something and he was the last one out and I let him borrow my keys to get back in the back. When he came back to give me my keys he pretended to take them home with him and was like “alright these are mine now.” And he was smiling and walking out the door and I joked and was like “how am I gonna get home?” And he smiled and handed the keys back to me and told me goodnight. I don’t really see him tease anyone else. Today he teased me by pretending to get my name wrong again. When he said bye to one of his kitchen coworkers I think he called her a nickname or something but didn’t tease her. He’s a really nice guy and there was another guy in the past from our job who used to tease me all the time and one of my friends noticed that he only did it with me and was obsessed with me but another one of our friends said he was just doing it to get a reaction and he liked my reactions. This guy and I before just usually greeted each other nicely and said hi and bye. Why has he started teasing me all of a sudden? I think he might have a gf… I don't know maybe I’m paranoid I just think it’s out of left field.
