there is this guy he is in a serious relationship and been with his girl for few years but I’ve noticed lately he been too nice I guess you can say like extra friendly he will stop by say hi and have a small conversation anything random like yesterday he stopped by and asked how I am I was like okay he was like well I’m tired I was like oh why he was like we went to pumpkin patch yesterday I was like ohh okay I mean I try to be as distant as I can be from him but he still be very nice and maybe he just nice dude bc he is quite friendly to others too so I don't know

If he's just being friendly, it's fine. If either of you are flirting while he's in a committed relationship, that's not good.

There's nothing wrong with having friendly conversations with people even if they are in a relationship. It's only when it stops being platonic and becomes flirty that it becomes a problem.
