I’m a new grad nurse. I’ve been looking for a job since march, a few months prior to me graduating. So I’ve been having a really hard time finding a job and I’ve been applying in ALL settings. This how desperate I am at this point. I’m running out of places to apply. No one wants to hire me because of my lack of experience. My family keeps telling me to work as a CNA. I don’t want to. That was part of my motivation for finishing school. Also , I hurt my back while working as a CNA. It left me not being able to walk for a few weeks. It took me several months to heal and be able to walk without a limp. I’m not going to do it but I can’t help but to feel a little guilty for not.

So were you working all this time as a CNA? Or did you quit once you became an RN? I’m wondering why your current job didn’t hire you on as an RN? Have you tried at the VA hospital. I don’t know what state you’re in or country but the VA is always looking for nurses. There’s always jobs for nurses no matter where you go.
I heard today there is such a shortage of nurses that they will not require a nursing certificate to get hired.
If you can live without a paycheck for a while you should. It will give you more time to look for a nursing job
Well just say you won't hurt your back again and wait!
Volunteer places or make stuff up. They never check us nurses any ways not like we are doctors!
Go off for a few days be yourself get drunk and lay with a lovely women.
Forget the job and one will come to you! Nursing is a hard career and we are treated like dirt especially by doctors so just petty while you can.
I wasn’t talking about the job
Who cares my family hates me for not being a dumb doctor 💊.
