Is it a good idea to put my college studies on hold after getting this job?

I have been at my job for almost 2 months now, I started a new quarter a month ago at college. However due to stress and me needing the money worse, I am decided to take a break from studies next quarter to focus on my career/Job. I get good pay and benefits as well. But I can't juggle both. So I'm going to finish out this quarter and then just move on with my job for the time being. Would you blame me?

You make your choices and then you live with the consequences, what ever those are.

The only reason to goto college etc is to get the paperwork that you need to legally be able to do a particular job or if you need it to try to convince someone else that you know what you are doing.

If you are already earning the money then it would certainly seem that you do not need the paperwork and even if this job goes away you may well be able to continue in this field based on the experience you are getting by doing it, either on your own or for someone else.

While I was working with my first job as a diesel brake assembler at a sheltered workshop, I was taking two college classes at a time. I took five college classes while I was still in high school and after I graduated from high school, I stayed in college while I was assembling diesel brakes.

It's up to you but once you stop college it's hard to get back into...

I recommend taking one class at a time instead of a full blown college load. Just so you can keep your foot in the door of college

No, if you are having financial issues you should get your life straightened out abd thn finish your degree. Speak to an advisor at your college to find out the best way to do this.

If you don't have enough money to be comfortable in a meager college student manner, then you would be distracted, unhappy, and not do your best, so take a semester off but explore grants and scholarships. If you stay away more than 6 months, you probably won't return.
