Will they not want to hire me?

2 years ago I worked at CFA I always did my best! One day I was 5 minutes late because of bad traffic (even though I had left earlier than usual) and I didn’t have my managers number at that time and was still new to driving on my own so I couldn’t text her I’d be a little late. When I came in I immediately apologized and was told that being late wasn’t acceptable. Later I apologized to my manager again and tried to explain a little about what happened.

Fast forward to now- i don’t work there anymore (I quit because I got too busy) and I am trying to get a job at a different CFA, they want to call my old boss and ask about me. Do you think they will not want to hire me because of that one time I was late?
