Having done a lot of both mentoring and coaching, academics and sports, I feel strongly about this.

If a singular or only a few people of school-attending age I absolutely prefer languages (native), and/or philosophy.

Primarily because they are subjects where you can angle towards long term learning. Teaching how to think, mentality and building an appreciation for learning or developing. If, my experiences tell me, you give someone a passion for improvement and a solid foundation on which to go from people surprise you with astpunding results. Often times a former failing student can become a summa cum laude - and a happy one - and that is fantastically satisfying as a mentor. Mentors tend to get much closer than teachers and so it becomes easier to have a strong impact.

Sports is nice for the more instant gratification but also often amounts mostly to a healthier life. Harder sciences can work just fine but the step from mathematic excellence to linguistic is much more challenging than the reverse.

I do! Although theirs is more in a lasting capacity. Teachers, professord and the likes. Mine was a little more temporary while I was myself being educated.

But hey, teaching at its best is everyone involved giving each other more. Its a strange phenomena that so many people grow to dislike it.

I already do both and been doing it for years...

coaching has been mainly for football soccer... and done it in few aspects of the game, but one that I enjoy more in particular is the sharpening of mid-defensive skills and anticipation/reading of the field and fielders

as for teaching, most of my tutoring focuses on helping people to find the best way in which they can actually learn to learn and understand something, not just memorize... which, can go a bit differently for everyone

Life in general. Basically, don’t do what I did. Lol. I have made so many mistakes in my life. So many bad choices. So many regrets. Things I would hate for others to ever go through. Hopefully something good could come out of the poor choices I’ve made. To make others smarter , so they never have to see the consequences. Cause I wouldn’t wish them on anyone. They were hard, painful, and emotionally challenging. If I ever get to the happily ever after part of my life, I’ll write a book. Lol.

faaar- lol how dumb. But no i would be that mentor on how to be a ghost. I have gifts and abilities that many would love to have. However, being a ghost anyone could do. So I just teach how to move without a sound, appear out of nowhere then disappear.

A self awareness program on how to read your surroundings and detect unusual and possible threatening behavior before the threat even starts, for example when you are about to commit any crime or dangerous activity your adrenaline will start rushing so you can somewhat detect it in someone's behavior that they are about to do something risky and an extra second can save your life.

No I don't like law enforcement, never trusted them, never needed them and I never will, id like to teach people to depend on themselves, having to trust others can be a mistake within itself, who can you trust to try hardest to save you more than yourself

students will better understand themselves and others. reasons why people do what they do from an objective lens, believe what they believe, how to filter out propaganda etc.
