How does everyone balance career & personal relationships?

I got a new job & it’s become extremely demanding & all time consuming. I’m having a hard time juggling that & finding time for things around it. How do you manage? How do you balance? I’m only 20 so I’m still navigating my way around all of it

It's a struggle for a lot of people. I do it by having clear boundaries between my work and personal life. I don't let them touch. I work my ass off at the job, and once my hours are done, that's it. My coworkers are not my friends. My friends are not my colleagues. I don't work during off hours; I relax during off hours. I don't work from home. But the deal is; when I'm at work, I AM AT WORK. That means that all my "i's" are dotted and my "t's" are crossed. So that way, when I get to the end of my day, I can go to my personal life without concern that my work will bleed over into personal time.

I do not take work that seriously. It does not define me and I will not allow it to take over my life.
