But looking back, maybe career was not so important? When I retire, I will have a pension
But will I have a wife?🙂
If I separate from my wife, I can say my career will nosedive
Yeah, def. There are times I'm overwhelmed with work and I'll miss a text from my guy, which throws him off. Or there are times that something urgent's going on for the guy and I need to shuffle a few things around. It happens.
WORST idea was allowing him to jump in on a work project with me. I work in lightening speed and needed things basically on point from each team and his team kept falling behind till it hit critical mass. It was v upsetting to me bc the no-nonsense "boss lady" persona I favor at work is very different from the smiling sweetie pie from dance class etc. I think I set his mind reeling, but I can see him hovering in the group chat we're on. 🤷🏻♀️
Back to the drawing board.
Haha
I know a girl like that
I didn't want to see her "business"side
But I wasn't taking about when you work together
I was just saying if you break up for example it will affect your ability to contribute at work
So you can't just dump your partner without considering your job security
Nah. If anything, they compliment each other.
How so?
My career never interfered with my love life but it has affected it.
After I was laid off due to downsizing, I took a job at a city several hours away from home. I commuted back and forth, spending Monday through Friday at my job, staying in a small apartment I rented, and spending weekends at home with my family. Saturday morning was always intimacy time with the wife.
This went on for a couple years before I was able to get a job back in my hometown.
I guess my own situation, I split up with my fiancee and went on a bit of a rampage
Which definitely affected my work effort
As a relationship coach, my aim is to explore all sorts of relationship dynamics. You've touched that classic conundrum: love or money? It's so relatable! 🔄 Prioritizing a career doesn't mean dooming your love life. It's all about the balance, babe! Falling for someone who sees your hustle is the real jackpot. A support system enhances both, and an emotional pension is the best kind! Stay optimistic, and keep that work-life-love balance rolling! 😉💙
