What do you think about kids getting away with hitting teachers in school but a teacher can't hit them?

Teachers have a right to defend themselves. They just can't beat on the kids senselessly. A teacher can easily take a kid and slam them into the floor though and say they were tackling them to restrain them from violence that could have injured other students. The concrete floor hits a lot harder than people do with fists... If you suplex a brat into a concrete floor, he's going to be hurting and then he's going to jail. You just can start punching him afterwards. You have to keep your cool and sit on top of his unconscious body until school security/police arrive and say calm down Jamal. Violence isn't the answer, just breath. :D

It wasn't that way when I was growing up. At one school I went to, the principal had a two foot long paddle with holes drilled through it, and he used to lay that paddle with determination. I think I got it six or seven times in two years, and my butt was tender and sore for several days afterward each time.

Where are kids "getting away with" hitting teachers? I have worked with kids with behavioral problems in elementary/middle school in the past five years, and they did not "get away with" things like this. They weren't beaten, if that's what you mean. They were given age-appropriate consequences and usually referred to get help if they weren't already getting it. I didn't have any teachers who were concerned for their lives or were asking to be able to hit the children back. I think you may be watching too much cable news.

You do know if a teen hits a teacher he gets charged.. so that is what it is to be an adult you can't hit anyone unless you want a charge or to lose your job..
All you have to do is press charges against them and better yet expel the little crap bag and see how far he gets in life being violent. If he wants a school diploma he will have to change.. As for actual children.. really what can a kid... do not much.. report them to the principle and parents..

Clothes line slam the fucker to the floor head first. Then sit on their back, pinning their arms, and wait for school security to come and handcuff them. Call the cops to take the monster to jail and charge them with aggravated assault. The teacher did nothing but defend their self and de-escalate a dangerous situation with minimal force.

Some schools have opportunities, my high school had more criminals than anything, most teachers had a record so it exists lol
