How come students getting away with hitting the teacher but if a teacher hits a student they are instantly fired?

because young people are not as dumb or naive as society makes them out to be

sure society likes to infantilize them but many will use this to their advantage such as female students trying seduce their male teachers for higher grades and if he refuses, she blackmails him into keeping his mouth shut

Parents don't see that their kids actions are wrong so not much you can do.

How old are these students? The general answer is that teachers are adults and students are children.

I doubt students are actually getting away with assaulting their teacher. It probably has happened before but it's probably so rare that it's not a real problem.
