What is a profession you admire but could never be a part of?

For me, being a sailor has always been a fascinating career.. This is more of a lifestyle than a profession.. Aside from being isolated from land and social life for months, this type of life has a heavy psychological burden.. But it must be the only profession in this life where you can be completely free.

Special Forces

I was in the army but could never make it to special forces

Always got ass whopped when I went through the physical tests

They are the toughest men to ever walk on earth and would whoop anyone's ass

I've felt that it is not a myth that they know ways to kill people instantly with bare hands

Law enforcement. The chances are too high for me to play Judge Dredd and get rid of the scum right then and there. And in Germany there is no such thing as "qualified immunity" for cops.

Also fire fighters, Paramedics and Police. Because of the children who become victims of accidents. Especially car wrecks and house fires and etc...

I couldn't look at them w/o getting emotional.
