Applying for job?

So basically back In April I got a promotion at my bank job from being a Teller to becoming a Account representative. So far it’s been nothing but drama and my coworkers who are supposed to train me refused to. A month ago a loan processor position opened and I thought about applying since one day I hope to be a loan officer. I hesitated because I had just got the promotion back in April. The position is still open and I want to apply except now one of my co workers is moving to an auditing position so I don't know if they would hire me since that would leave 2 spots to fill. On the other hand there are two tellers who want to move up to the account reps positions so that would take care of that. The only problem is that now that would leave to empty spots for tellers. What should I do?

don't hesitate due to empty positions apply for loan job and try to get it. imagine you added place for others can get a job.

Update I got an interview and I will so be shadowing the supervisor so I can see how position is on a day to day basis

Don't worry about leaving open spots, that's the company's concern, not yours. Apply for the position you want.
