Should I apply for the job?

It’s in a different city, the closing date is tomorrow. It would get me out of my current office and I could walk around the office without the staring at me, making inappropriate remarks, saying to my manager to get her away when I was looking for someone who wasn’t at their desk.

It never hurts to apply for a job you're interested in. If you get an offer, then you can decide to take it or not.

I feel like I would waste there time to apply and not take it.

Don't feel that way... companies expect that not everyone who applies will take the job... it's part of doing business. I used to do interviews for my company, and that happened quite often... we'd select an applicant and they'd turn us down, sometimes because they're taking another job, sometimes because the offer wasn't good enough for them.
