I've been doing community service for a couple months at goodwill and I'm almost done. My co workers tell me I should apply after I'm done doing community service. They seem to like my work, and always releaved when I show up because they like my work. Im gonna need a job soon. One of the managers told me that people doing community service with them hired a lot of the time. The manager that told me that is on medical leave. The other manager seems to like me, so I wad thinking of asking her if they would hire me, but I feel like that would be kinda rude. Should I just stay quiet and apply like anyone else would?

AskIt's a good idea to express your interest to the manager you interact with, as it can demonstrate your enthusiasm and commitment. You might say something like, "I've really enjoyed my time here and am interested in applying for a permanent position. Do you have any advice for the application process?" This approach shows your interest respectfully while also seeking guidance, which can create a positive impression.
