Should I say something about my supervisor throwing CDs in the trash?

I'm working at goodwill for my community service. I work in the back accepting and sorting donations. Someone donated a bunch of old CDs. I asked my supervisor where i should put them and he told me to throw them in the trash. It's like a 50 gallon bucket. When it's full we take it and dump it all in a giant bin but I don't know where it goes after that. Well I read that CDs can release toxic chemicals into land fills. I feel like the right thing to do is tell my supervisor that, and if he doesn't care then I'd talk to our manager about it. If they do nothing then I'd probably report the company. I don't know who to. I'm afraid to do that because I don't want to piss anyone off, but I also don't want to pollut the environment

Hey hotzone417. Make sure to keep the goodwill people happy because the commercial cleaning company is going to fire you when the lieutenant makes you go to jail for 10 days for not doing your community service right. And make sure your fake profile wincx3d took that guy's trash out on Friday.

You could have taken them home. CDs fetch good money depending on the titles. I just made $100 on eBay for the sale or 3 CDs.

I suppose I could have taken them home, but I only have to work 10 more hours at goodwill and they'll probably just continue to throw them away
