Is there a night when moon is not physically in the sky?

As you can read the question... Is there a night when moon is not physically present in the sky? Not talking abouy when its not visible, rather is not even present in the sky physically? Probably at the other side of the world.

The moon orbits the earth so it is always in the sky, even when it is on the opposite side of the earth.

Not talking about orbit.. Actually that is excatlly what I am asking is that, are there nights where moon is on the other side of the world.. Because the way they show in diagrams is moon is fully facing the sun or completly opposite. That made me think.

If its dark and there is no Sun, its night. It does not matter if there is a Moon or not.
