Did you know that all the planets in the solar system can fit in the space between the Earth and the moon? How can Earth have that much gravity to keep the moon in orbit? Or is the moon really an alien space station?

The moon was definitely put in place.
No where else have we found another planet with a single very large moon like ours. Other moons aren't perfect circles they are more like a small rock in when compared to their plants also most planets have more then one moon.
We have a solar eclipse on the 17th of this month. That happens because the sun and moon are directly proportional in size and distance from the earth.
Also you know why we only see one side of the moon... it spins in proportion to the speed it travels around us, so we only ever see one side.
Talk about coincidences...
As for why it stays in orbit. Thats just understanding physics and gravity. The question to me is how did things work so perfectly for life to come in to existence here?
Why it's there and why we see only one side is also physics lol. No coincidence that can't be explained. Neil Degrasse Tyson explained it well.
Regarding your life and existence question... well that is for sure interesting and science doesn't know everything.
I think it had some divine help.
No one can deny that as a possibility. It seems too perfect to be an accident and that is also upset how we treat this beautiful creation as a species.
I appreciate the mho
Even most Scientists who Study Data of Moon, Say It is SUSPICIOUS!..
- Placed at Perfect Place in Outer space.. 0.01%
- On that Place That Object need to Have a Perfect size moon has it. 0.01% Probability
- Now at that Size The Object should not be Too heavy, And It should be Less dense, moon has it.. 0.01%
- Now at That Size it should Generate enough Gravity to Generate Tides on Earth and cause Seasonal Changes. 0.01%
- It should Always show only One Face towards earth being "Tidally Locked " 0.01%
- Has Revolution time of 13 times Each year 0.01%
-Revolution aligned with Position of Jupiter & Saturn to Ensure if Any asteroid escape them , it does not Reaches earth 0.01%
- Have correct Outer Density to Inner core Density to Handle Inpact of Asteroid, that we see as Spots on moon. 0.01%
Even if we Consider each of these Conditions to Just reduce Probability by 0.01% each time they happen , we get a stack of 8 times..
Its 0.000,000,001% possible that a Moon like this Exists , 10^-8 Probability is Insane..
There is higher Possible of Finding life on a rocky Planet in Goldie Lock zone
@Nik1hil this might be true but have you ever tried to make the perfect shot of espresso? That is scientifically more perplexing than anything I've ever seen. 9 bars of pressure at the point of extraction happens, watching gravity pull the syrupy and viscous looking liquid out of a machine with more tech than the lunar module, dance into my thermally preconditioned vessel, knowing just by sight, that I have achieved a desired 20% rate, in exactly 27 seconds. Nature takes it coarse with its first act of imbibition. Dopamine levels rise, serotonin is at levels people thought were impossible.
It is this ritualistic daily human act that I am still pondering what we yet have learned about espresso. Lol
Clearly with my grammar you can tell I am not a scholar or any sorts lol
Moon is Actually Very Less dense as Compared to Earth..
It's Practically Hollow..
So Moon looks Big, But it's Very easy to move it by Using Little Gravity that Earth has.. because it is Not Dense!..
Also Moon is 40% Less denser than Earth on Average..
While Having Smaller Size.. that's why it's Gravity is 1/6th of Earth.. and Moon also Pulls Earth towards it, But it's Mostly Water of Earth and in Reality Moon & Earth both Revolve Around Each Other at a Point which is Between Center of Moon and Earth!
Gravity is the force we can measure, we know it exist but we don't know how it works.
One is sure gravity is an ingredient of the time space mash of this universe. Gravity is present in all dimensions of this universe. Distance doesn't matter. In theory your body is connected due gravity with a dust particle orbiting some star in Andromeda galaxy. This attraction force is there even if unbelievable small. The force between dust particles of Earth and dust particles of Moon are just several magnitudes higher. Generally all subatomic particles which have a mass in this universe are connected with each other due gravity but forces those connection have differ.
I did hear about all the planets fitting a couple years ago and was shocked! I think there would even be room to spare. That kind of makes you realize just how vast space really is. I mean, most stars we see at night are huge compared to the sun!

It's just the way it is like if you balance a ruler on your finger when you're bored in class. You just know it balances at a certain point because the weight of the two ends makes it do that. The size and gravity of the earth and moon are such that the moon goes around the earth. The moon being far away makes no difference it's just the math of it. I don't know if the moon is a base but I found this pit thing on mars via satellite map
That’s a fun fact that i did not previously know! Thank you!
Here is one of my favorite demonstrations of the prevailing theory of gravity and its relationship with space and time.
This is a great question! I learned TWO things because of this post! What a great Valentine’s gift!
The mass of the Moon is only 1/100 of the Earth, so of course it's going to stay in Earth's orbit based on simple physics. The size (diameter) of the largest planet is equal to only 1/3 of the distance to the Moon, so all the planets would easily fit in that space. The sun would not, it would go past the Moon by almost 4 times that distance.
And the heat, my god the heat!
Well, it was moved here, it didn't come on its own.\n And if it was spinning, you wouldn't always see the man in the moon that would change, but it just stands still, but it needs to be there, otherwise everything else, just go. TA DA. LOOK, MOM, WE'RE SPENDING OUT OF CONTROL. NO OTHER PLANETS.
And think about this one without the moon , our horoscopes would be terrible every day
The Moon orbits the Earth because of the Earth's greater mass. It's more accurate to say that both planets orbit a focal point, but because of the Earth's mass the focal point is inside the Earth's circumference, thus making the Moon's orbit slightly eliptical.
That “focal point” is called the “barycenter” of gravity in the Earth/moon system. I stopped reading there because i don’t want to know if it wasn’t first proposed by a guy named “Bary”. 😂😂😂
Your image makes me wanna...
actually, the Moon doesn't stay in orbit... it is drifting apart but it just does it very very slowly, lol
it's been the slowest good bye ever since...
also... the Moon and the Earth have been dancing around each other for a long long while now, so they do have a center of mass in common called... something, I don't remember, but it has a name
and it happens to be closer to the Earth because it's just much more massive than the moon is
but it doesn't matter though... that girl is not staying put, that girl is going away...
Scientists measure the distance between the Earth and the Moon precisely by bouncing lasers off reflectors left on the Moon by Apollo astronauts. Take that, Moon landing deniers!
@AngryCarl3 and the Moon is going away from the Earth... faster than Europe is moving away from America...
Obviously, it's held in place by invisible, spiritual rubber bands that flex daily. How else would you explain tides? And, when the sun hits the moon unimpeded by the Earth (full moon), little alien creatures that are in some humans come out and wreak havoc on their surroundings. Yes, oh I forgot, the Earth is flat.
Maybe its a giant ball of cheese and it's very light compared to a giant rock lol
None of that is true and I’m surprised you would spread such misinformation. You seem like a reasonable sort of person.
Actually it's true. Remember the distance from the Earth to the Moon varies from 225,623 miles to 252,088 miles. When you consider that Jupiter, the largest planet in the Solar System has an equitorial diameter of 88,846 miles it all starts to make sense.
@AngryCarl3 the planets cannot possibly be that small. Jupiter is huge.
@WhitneySnow Well as I said Jupiter has an equitorial diameter of 88,846 miles, and it's the largest of all the planets. Saturn is also quite large but the other planets are tiny by comparison. Can you see the illustration? It's quite accurate.
@AngryCarl3 huh. That’s interesting.
@WhitneySnow I know, right?
gravity is a apretty strong force. The much smaller moon has such a strong gravitational pull tht it is what makes the tides.
The moon most likely has a google maps app that helps the moon to go where it is meant to go.
Mass, orbit, speed, and distance in perfect balance.
It makes me laugh so hard when people are told about space and they nod their heads and accept it. It's so hilarious.
Actually, the Moon is moving away from the Earth about 1 1/2 inches a year.
It's hiding from Trump, who doesn't believe in it !!!
There is no way that's true.
Look up what the diameter of each planet is. The moon is like 238,000 miles from Earth, and 251,000 at its farthest point of orbit.
The moon also has a gravity field.
How come all the craters on the moon, including the huge impact craters, are all the same depth? They should vary by the size of the object hitting it.
Not if you look at pics of the moon. All the huge impact craters are shallow in depth, unlike the meteor crater near Winslow, AZ.
Gravity pulls the moon
If it does be thankful it doesn't have a greater gravity, or we would be eating that moon. 🌙
No. The gravity level to pull the moon all the way is never there so no worries
Google it
