Why is there still no space station on the Moon?

We have scientific stations in Antarctica, in Earth orbit, there are underground scientific stations... but why not on Moon? This is the perfect place for better space exploration, at least there is no atmosphere there

It’s a good thing that humankind has not yet established a colony on the moon and I hope that all future attempts at establish one will fail.


Is it not enough that civilization slowly destroys our planet? Do we really need to destroy other planets?


Furthermore, if the US colonize the moon, they will annex it to the US and make it yet another state.


It is enough if that megalomaniac dictator wants to invade Greenland and Canada. The moon needs no other imbecile as president.

Why would we have a 3-4 day long trip to the moon when getting into orbit only takes a few hours?

I think they’re working on that, but it’s all depending on funding on where the money is coming from but I do remember reading something about that they would like to because then they could actually leave from the moon that hardly has gravity to Mars since it would be easier to lift off with less fuel burn

Likely due to a lack of funding and knowledge that would be gained. The moon isn’t another planet like Mars and there is already an intl space station to conduct zero gravity studies.
