How can I get smarter?

took an IQ test and got a 90 which is slightly below average according to my race and gender

You can control how experienced you are with these type of tests and build the instincts for doing those sorts of questions which improves your score.

However, you cannot improve your actual intelligence. A big reason why IQ tests are not very reliable is due to the fact many people who take them often practice a fuckton for them. They're purely done because it's a guess at how intelligent you are. I'd focus less on your IQ score, as that'll do nothing, but instead focus on:
- Work Ethic
- How familiar you are with material you are approaching in school
- Understanding how you individually absorp material and learn things best Everyone has their own shortcomings, but you work around them to live most efficiently. For me, it's ADHD, which I use medication for and have an understanding of how my body works when it comes to that stuff. I know what factors make me lose focus and what help me.

IQ is fixed. At least accoeding to most definitions.

However there are many tests on the internet, that claim to test this or that but the results aren't too reliable or viable.

So don't worry about it.

iq test shows u how smart you are compared to the person who designed the test. i would take it with a pinch of salt. to get smarter you shoul

• not talk much to stupid people
• take on something with high problems solving such as maths, chess, coding
• eat food that are good for the body
• get enough fresh air
• don't smoke or drink alcohol
• start a business or a few
• learn things
• think for yourself and second guess other peoples advices and ideas

IQ doesn't decide your smartness. Smartness is using whatever resources we have now and present, with our knowledge and skills in the BEST POSSIBLE way.

That high IQ person is dumb who takes stupid decision or do nothing in life being lazy or in ego. The another person who is having lesser IQ but is strongly determined to do something and does hard work to achieve it is much better.

So don't feel bad about it.

IQ is not a real metric for anything. But in general intelligence can be achieved by paying attention to your surroundings. That's the basics of how learning happens.

Not giving too much about some stupid IQ test is the first step towards being smart

Practice critical thinking and problem solving skills. It may sound simple but when in doubt always go back to the basics.
