Would you say working from 1.30pm to 7.30pm is a long shift?

No. It's only 6 hours. Full time jobs are 8 hours a day or 40 hours per week.
I used to work 9 hours, 8:00 to 5:00, Mon-Thurs and 4 hours, 8:00 to 12:00, on Friday = 40 hours. Mon-Thurs included a paid one hour lunch break and two 15 minute breaks. Friday had a 15 minute break.
No, not at all.
I've do 24s, 48s and even though we aren't supposed to do more than 48 in a row 72s when necessary.
My longest stint was 63 days without a day off.
Nah, that's dog shi. I'm certain I need more than that, and paid more than $14. If not, it's a trash job
Thats not even a full 8 hours. So no. But i do hate working past 5pm

No, that's 6 hours. I regularly work 8 hours.
no not really i worked mostly 13 hours one day
My last job I was regularly doing 12/10ths shifts and it was quite physical. I felt like I spent my weekends just sleeping didn’t do much else it was horrible
yeah a was working during summer as a waitress and some days were really horrible but i hope now you have better job and also some time for yourself:)
I had to wake up at 5.30am and catch my bus for 6ish to start work at 7am. If I was doing 12 hours it was until 7pm and by the time I get home it was around 8am which meant I had like barely 2 hours to myself. It was hardly worth the overtime either as it was a flat rate at 10.42 per hour only made £20 extra if I did 2 days overtime such a waste
Around 8pm** sorry
for me it was a bit different. so if we had a lot of quests i worked from 12. am to 12. pm or more but yeah it was wuite exhausting and yeah the same as you a haven't had any time for myself
No just under a standerd day shift without overtime
To someone that works full time & overtime that is not a long shift however if you work part time that could be considered a long shift.
No, that's pretty short. A typical shift is 8 hours, sometimes a bit longer if there's an overlap.
That's only six hours. Working from 7:30am to 7:30pm is a long shift.
You can't handle a 6-hour shift? I've worked 10 and 12 hour shifts!! And then I had to walk half way home afterwards (at least 5 or 6 miles).
That’s six hours. Isn’t eight hours the average?
That's 6 hours. That's not even a full shift.
Maybe for a warm up, 6 hours im guessing with breaks and a lunch. Fairly easy compared to many peaples day.
Less than a typical work day.
Come back when you do 16-20 hours in medical or any other demanding job then I'll be impressed.
Nope. A typical shift is 8 hours. You're only working 6.
hell naw if i get to wake up late and go work I'd work my ass off.
lol good lord no. try 12 hour shifts. those are long
No it's only 6 hours. It's not even a full day. I usually work 8am to 7 or 8pm.
No. That's a relaxing work day. I'm used to working 8 hours a day.
No. 6 hour is below the full time shift (it being 7h for 6 days or 8h for 5 days)
Nah
4-6 is part time
8 is regular time
10-12 is overtime
15-18 is burnout
No. It just feels like it because it takes the heart of the day.
I work from 10 am to 8:30 pm
