Did he treat me badly?

So I had my drivers test last week. I feel like I was not treated right by my driving instructor. I had the test which I failed and after he told me I must pay 150 dollars to rent his car for the test. He never told me about this fee so I asked him where the cash machine was and he just pointed up the road and made me walk 15 minutes up and back to get the money even though he was doing nothing and this was after failing my test. He then drove off and never asked me how I was getting home so he left a young woman to get the hour long bus home. I emailed him my results that day and he just seen my message and never texted back. Do you think he treated my badly?

That driving instructor definitely didn't treat you right. A few red flags:

- He should've told you about the fee beforehand, not spring it on you after failing the test. Super sketchy.

- Making you walk alone for 30 mins just to get cash when he was free is inconsiderate as hell.

- Driving off without asking how you'd get home after a stressful test is straight up rude.

- Not even replying to your message is justplain disrespectful.

I'd say you have every right to feel like he didn't show you basic courtesy or care about your situation. Leaving a student alone like that after failing isn't cool. A good teacher would've been more understanding.

I'd complain to the driving school for sure. And maybe leave an online review warning others. No one should have to deal with that kinda treatment, especially from someone in a position of authority. You deserve better than how he handled things for sure. Don't doubt yourself - trust your instincts on this one.

You're an adult it's not my job to walk you to the bus. If it was a bakery it would be no different. You come here, pay for a service, how/what happens once you leave here isn't my concern. I assume you aren't an imbecile and can manage day to day activities if you managed to get TO my establishment so why would I suspect you've no ability to return?

It was dumb of him not to tell you about the fee beforehand. Especially since so few people carry cash.

I am confused about the emailing results part. If he was there when you failed why did he not know the results? Wasn't he who failed you? That wasn't something that happened when I took my driving test so I can't say if he treated you poorly there. What was he supposed to respond? Since you failed, does it matter? Not like he needs to send you a certificate of completion so you can get your license. I'm sorry, I don't understand how this works.
