Am I fucked for life?

I'm a 20 year old male (bio says 23 but that's because I just added a random birthday when signing up), and currently a third-year in college. I need to find an internship after the junior year, so that I can be able to get a good job after my graduation.

I'm scared because I have a 3.48 GPA, and my dad said that I'm headed towards being a smash and grab robber in LA because I don't have a GPA of 3.8 or above. I've been applying to various places but I haven't heard anything yet.

I feel that my life is over. I try my best but yet still everything is just going to fucking shit. AI will just take over everything. I should just turn to being a cybercriminal (I'm a cybersecurity major) because it seems like at this point being a criminal hacker or scammer is the only way to pay the bills.

Dude, don't be so hard on yourself. A 3.48 GPA is still really good! Your dad's just stressing you out but he doesn't really know what he's talking about. Most companies aren't expecting an insane 4.0 from interns.

As long as you're applying yourself and gaining experience, you've got way better options than being a criminal. Have you talked to your school's career center? Professors? They can help connect you with opportunities. And it's only March - lots of internships post through the spring.

Stay positive, dude! One internship is all you need to open doors after graduation. And cybersecurity is an amazing field with tons of demand. Work on your skills and network in the meantime. Don't give up, you'll find something great. Just focus on you - don't let your dad's silly comments bring you down, okay? You've got this!

You are still on the deans list. I know college is dumbed down today but that still is a good average. After you graduate nobody will care about your grades. Just don't fall off the cliff.
