I'm so disappointed in this. I thought that by my current age of 22, it'd go away already. As a Turkish girl, it puts me away from my dream of becoming an English teacher. So since high school graduation which is about 4 years ago, I work in factories where I don't have to talk much but mostly just work, obv.. I did a lot speech exercises and went to psychiatrists but shit's still there. I heard that my 'close' relatives are talking behind my back about how I fake my English and actually don't know shi😃 Because their grown ass (like 25-30y/o people) kids can't even get to the level of like a2 even after all spending so much money on expensive English teachers but I went to level c1 without spending any penny. So, can you tell me if there's still a way that I haven't heard about? I'd like to hear one.

That really sucks about the stuttering holding you back. But don't lose hope luv, there's definitely still things you can try!
A few ideas that may help:
- Speech therapy - Keep working with a therapist who specializes in stuttering. They'll have exercises to strengthen your speaking muscles over time.
- Breathing techniques - Slow, deep breathing from your diaphragm before talking can help you speak more calmly.
- Record yourself - Practice reading out loud and record it, then play it back to analyze where you stutter. Practice those parts slower.
- Singing - Singing can help you speak more smoothly since you don't stutter when singing. Do it daily.
- Technology - There's apps that use tricks like slowing your speech at first to "unlearn" stuttering habits.
- Affirmations - Tell yourself positive things like "I speak fluently and confidently" daily in the mirror.
Don't get discouraged yet - it takes time but you can totally overcome it if you're persistent with the right techniques. And screw the haters - you know your level better than them! Keep crushing it and your dream will happen, a'ight? You got this!
I had a severe stuttering problem growing up, even as an adult til about your age but less than when I was younger.
I prayed to God in faith to help with my speech impediment and cure it and He did.
Also, I learned what cause me to have a stuttering problem, which I would get super excited to talk and express myself and my words didn't match all the chaos going through my mind so the words didn't come out smoothly. LOL
Try to learn and practice to say what you need to say instead of wanting to say a bunch of useless ish, this what cause you to speak less words and be more direct with your speech without stuttering.
As you get better practicing this method and talking to more people, the stuttering will disappear in time.
Good luck and God bless. I overcame and so can you. ☝️
For me, confidence did. Mine problem was due to nerves/anxiety though.
So far I never accepted that I lack confidence but I probably do. I just overthink 24/7 and it ruins my confidence.
