Can someone who stutters or helps improve stuttering explain this to me?

So I stutter normally like it’s what I do. But at home it’s like 10 times worse than in public. Like at home , I can’t say anything. But in public, you can tell I have a stutter but it’s on and off depending on what im doing. If I’m at the register at work it’s bad talking to customers but friends not very bad. Is it anxiety with parents or family? Like I feel like it should be opposite bad in public and good at home. Can someone explain or give me a tip on how to improve my speech at home? I’ve tried every technique and therapy so I’m not sure what to do
