Is it wrong to apply for and accept a job just because there is an employee there that you have a crush on?

I know this may sound like a childish question for a 31-year-old, but I was still in my 20s when I got the job that I have now, which I applied for for that reason.

Sorry, I need responses right away because actually, this INDIRECTLY led to a problem at work that got me in trouble with my boss, because it led to me being irresponsible.

Yes its wrong simply because drama is about to happen. When you start dating and then break up, thats when the drama will start and then you end up looking for another job. Save yourself the drama and dont date in the work place. Trust me i know it gets weird real quick.

I could see doing it to see where the relationship was going to go but to work someplace for a few years over a crush is a little extreme.

He is not the reason I worked there this long. He was the reason that I STARTED working there in the first place!

I’m basically over him now. But yes he still works there. And he probably has no idea I had a crush on him. I barely even know him.

I got in trouble with my boss yesterday for constantly poor time management. And all day today I have been trying to figure out why. And I realized just today that it’s because WITHOUT EVEN REALIZING IT all this time, it’s because when I started the job, I didn’t consider that “with an ‘adult’ job, comes responsibility”, and of course that includes managing your time to ensure that you will be ABLE to get a certain task done by a certain time if the job involves completing a task by a certain time.
