Are you on the right track for a comfortable retirement?

If you've already retired, what does your retirement look like? Do you have advice for the rest of us?

If you have not retired, what are you doing to prepare and how do you feel about it? What do you envision retirement looking like?

I already retired early

I retired on time

I retired late or am past retirement age and have not retired

I'm on track for a GREAT retirement on time or early!

Things are going well enough, a normal retirement seems on track

I'm worried about if I'll be able to retire on time

Yeah, we are on the right track. I will retire from this career in 4 years. with a pension to live on. Plus investment properties…

once I retire from this career, I have other plans… I love life and work.. I will work part time, volunteer and travel and do all other fun things I want and help those who are less fortunate.

I have 3 rental properties , and will buy more.
During retirement all properties will be paid off.

so far... it is on the "comfortable" side, however...

this financial status is something that has to be maintained on the right track, feeling comfortable about it would be not wise at all...

especially around these lands... which can have a few things that are very unique to the area, and also very unpredictable as well

I was all set to retire in 2020 then Biden got in the white House. The stock market tanked and I lost about 20% of my retirement account. To make things wors the cosst of everything has doubled.

I went out and found a new job. I have been there a year and a half. It looks like this place will be closing soon. Depending on how the election goes it is not inconceivable to see prices double again in the next 4 years.

I work in IT and it is hard for somebody my age to find a job.

I'll never retire not just because I love this business but honestly I'm generally expected to be lucky if I live to double my present age

I'm older than you and I'm still working

But thinking about retiring

@fuddly play golf 3 or 4 times a week care for grandson day trips to the coast and lots of vacations never really get bored

And hopefully we both get many years with them!
