If you break something while shopping do you clean it up and or offer to pay for it?

The other day I broke a decoration in a clinic waiting room.

I offered my suggestion of using less vulnerable stuff.

Other than that I only break the self confidence of salespersons, when I'm in a shop.

If I'm in a local store, sure. If I'm in a chain store they usually just chalk it up to shrinkage.

That said, I think I've broke something maybe three times in my life.

Walk away if it spills and if breaks, depending where I am. Don't happen much. hahaha

No. I try to hide it and quickly exit the store.

I walk away. I'm not very clumsy so it happens rarely but generally it's because it's over stocked and touching it makes several things fall.
