Can the hr be contacted?

Like as an applicant I have their number can I ask when is the next interview? Or can they answer the applicants questions about the schedule of interview?

I don't see why it would hurt to contact HR to ask an innocent question about the interview process. But some tips:

- Be polite and courteous in your communication. HR deals with a lot of applicants so you want to stand out in a good way.

- Keep it brief - just ask about interview timing, don't ramble on or make requests. Respect their busy schedule.

- If they can't provide timing details, thank them for their time and leave it at that. Don't pressure for answers.

- Have your questions prepared concisely so you're not fumbling over words on the call. Look professional.

- Make sure to follow up with a thank you note after the call just to reiterate your appreciation.

As long as you're friendly and respectful, I don't foresee them having an issue with you asking one question. Just don't get pushy or annoying if they can't give you what you want to hear. A little polite persistence never hurt! Give it a try man.
