Basic math I’m ok. Higher level stuff gave me some trouble. I think I also didn’t care at the time it was being taught to me, so that probably didn’t help.
Definitely wouldn’t call myself a “math guy” overall…

I do basic math in my head. Once I was at a meeting and the leader mentioned that he had seen some game show where the contestants were asked "How much is 37 x 42?" I tempted to shout the answer but I refrained. I calculated: 42 = 3 x 14; 37 x 3 = 111 ; 111 x 14 = 1400 + 140 + 14 = 1554.

not so much anymore, those neurons not used enough after decades of work... which was all logic. I got A's in the high level stuff but haven't used that either.
Einstein was right about theory of relativity. Give your math homework to your relative and play outside.

Yeah I used to play professional poker and I analyze stocks. So both require number crunching. At least from the the fundamental analysis side of it. And you can't play poker very effectively if you can figure pot odds quickly.
