I knew from the start that the stuff above was nothing but horseshit. reason why I posted this was because I thought I was the only one that was unfortunately one that runs into scam

I've had plenty of fingers in plenty of pies some to this day and others are in the past now
The list includes the following

Selling soda/candy bars
Scrap metal
Washing cars
Mowing lawns
Dabbling with almost anything legal at some point or another in some capacity

nope, I've always had a job that required actual work, most because these type of employment opportunities were not around.
I could easily pick up work anywhere.
