Have you ever gotten a degree online?

when I say degree I mean a real degree that can land you a job/profession once you've graduated, not a useless certificate like most online schools offers.

anyways, I was think of giving Coursera a try. but before I do I wanted to know, has anyone tried it? did you succeed at it? were you able to find a job after graduating? if not, do you know a better alternative?

I have degrees done in the more old-fashioned way. However, I did some after graduation courses on Harvard and Stanford Universities online.

AFAIK Coursera doesn't offer any degree program, only courses and certificates. It's better to check if a specific university offers an online degree program.

I don't have a degree but I did have a certification in personal training, nutrition and general fitness from the international sports science association it noted to be about the equivariant of a bachelors degree.

And it did guarantee me a job in the fitness industry when I started.
