I'm working a fulltime job right now so I kinda lost hope in going back to school but a lot of these online course giving schools look pretty damn fishy. therefore I would love to hear the testimonies of real folks

Around 2020 everyone was getting their degree you missed out on zoom university. Everyone was cheating online. But now they have proctor exams where you have to have the Camara on the whole time and it tracks your eye movements and scans for sounds in your house. If it hears too much noise or they someone giving you the answer they will close your test down.

I still do the online classes because I like to record the professor. I like it better. I have to work and I don't have time to travel. If you go to a state they might not have a he proctor exam like well known schools because they can't afford that technology.

So you could start at community college online.

ok I just googled "zoom university" and got a lot of results. its there an especific one I need to aim for?

Zoom is like Skype. It's what professors were using to teach the class. "Zoom university" is just a meme joke.

It kind of depends on your level and what you can handle. The best option would be WGU because it's a work at your own pace school. They give 6 months and if you finish all the school work and test you get the bachelor's within six months.

If you've been out of school for a while and you feel like you need to start off slowly see if your community colleges in your area have online classes.

WGU is mostly for people that have job and they just need a 4 year degree to move up. Like you already understand your job and you just need the piece of paper with your name on it.

If you lack experience and you need internships it might be better to go to a state school or community college in your area to Network and get better job opportunities.

But you said you're working already and you probably already know what you're doing so western governors university (WGU) is the fastest way to get your degree in months.

American Military University is pretty legit. They don't hire any pure academics. If you haven't done your subject matter in the real world you don't get to teach it. Last I checked they were 250/credit hour, with books free for undergrads. American Public University is their civilian counterpart. Have no idea what the fee structure there is.

I had a cousin who got into a low quality school and then learned she could qualify for online classes at a top school so worked to get her degree but when she graduated she discovered they did not give her the same degree as people who appeared in person to do their degree and all she got was some professional certification badge from a barely related business bureau, not a real degree. Later she got into elite schools for her graduate studies but it was a waste of a few years of her life for her to pursue a degree she never got because it was done online and not determined with a preliminary and qualifying test.
