How long should you wait before moving if an employer want to hire you?

I take it the new employer is a less convenient distance and you would move to be closer to work.

A lot of employers have a probation period in effect if not explicitly. I think you could as if there is a probation period and once past that then shift. You might get good vibes and do earlier.
