My old job had a bunch of family members with different last names working together. Some were HR, Supervisors, Team Leads, and Teammates. So it made you afraid to talk about when one was in the wrong.
At my new job, I was just called into a meeting with this lady who turned out to be my supervisors friend. She always says “We can't discuss what WE talk about with your supervisor. Its just between us.” Despite her contradicting that the first time around, I was naive enough to believe it this time around.
So I took this as the opportunity to show her how my sup has been using up my vacation time by putting it down for days I didn’t request for unplanned absences like when my flight got delayed and I had to miss a day. I expected unplanned stuff to go unpaid but this lady has been using my timeoff without permission. she's also forged “time off request” forms and put my approved doctor appointment days down as “vacation” instead of “sick time”.
I HAD to talk to someone about this since we only get 10 days of vacay. Little did i know, at the end of today’s convo her “friend” says “Im going to have to talk to your supervisor about this. This is weird and unacceptable and could cause legal issues. She should not be submitting forms for you. She should not be entering time off for you. You should not have been getting paid.”
Like fck! I think I screwed myself over. So then i freaked out and showed her last months Teams conversation where I told my supervisor she shouldn’t be doing this because its making me look bad like I’m lying when she puts down made up excuses for days I didn’t request. I was trying to further cover my own ass, but now I think I dug a deeper hole since I’m realizing this ladys voice sounds exactly like my sup so I think im talking to sisters.
This is now mad awkward. I feel like I’ll be fired soon OR moved to a new supervisor to cover their ass OR hours will get cut to pay them back for the days I shouldn’t have gotten paid. #FeelFreeToList
