I'm starting to find as I learn more about MBTI that I am the most stereotypical ENFP.
That last meme might describe my ultimate strength and ultimate weakness in my job. I tackle more projects at once than any of my colleagues as a software engineer. Yet I never get far with most of them.
My little claim to fame that broke me into the computer graphics industry was a small innovation that changed the VFX industry. I've had a lot of small innovations like that as well as one which won me a Silver Edge award as Siggraph (graphics convention) for contributions to computer graphics research.
Yet a lot of people tend to ask me things like, "How one earth did you come up with this data structure/algorithm? It's so unorthodox." Then I have to disappoint them every time and tell them that I tried like 200 things that didn't work and I got lucky and found the one thing that did. 😅
Being the stereotypical ENFP, I'm trying new ideas all the time and faster than just about everyone else, but 99% of them are bad ideas that don't actually work as well as I thought they could. So it's simply brute force and process of elimination that I stumble into these innovative solutions here and there.
I also tend to know a tiny bit about a very wide variety of subjects and genuinely interested in almost everything. So I have just enough minimalist knowledge of, say, history combined with deep interest to hold an engaging conversation with a historian. Same with physics, a wide variety of sports, cosmetics, visual arts, creative writing, biology, nutrition, fitness, chemistry, anatomy (both artist and medical focus as well as beautician facial anatomy which I picked up from dating a beautician), music theory, agriculture, philosophy, political science, cooking and culinary history, art history, dancing, psychology, graphic design, gambling, martial arts, etc.
Yet it's all very beginner-level and any expert will find major gaps in my knowledge and skill. I rarely pursue all these hobbies and studying of subjects to an extent beyond a beginner or possibly intermediate level at very best. I usually get very passionate studying a new subject or practicing a new skill until it's sort of demystified to me, like I can get an idea of how the world's greatest experts do it now even though I'm nowhere close to their level. It still satisfied my curiosity of how it all worked and so I now want to move on to the next hobby/project.
Love this answer
Cheers! 🤝 I figure these things are my greatest strengths or my greatest weaknesses depending on the situation. 😅 I'm the worst person of them all to select though for something that demands concentrating on just one project for the longest periods of time. Also enjoy conversations way too much!
I've got a GREAT memory, plus I've called radio shows since 1965 when I was 12.
Writing, ironically enough - as you can see with my proclivity for long answers on this site. Makes me very popular.
That said, I have been published in The Washington Post, the Washington Times, the (now defunct) New York City Tribune, the Orlando Sentinel and a number of local papers and journals. In fact, the piece that got published in The Washington Times was picked up by the New York City Tribune without my pushing it. Apparently the editors saw it and were sufficiently impressed to run it.
So, while I am sure there are better writers out there than me, I think - as immodest as it sounds - that I am better at writing than most people.

finding patterns, which in my case means efficient work with existing code (software engineer's nightmare nr 1), testing (software engineer's nightmare nr 2), and bugfixing (software engineer's nightmare nr 3)
I don't know if im just really humble or lacking in skillset but i don’t feel like I’m better at anything. Thats the question i struggle with in interviews
Doesn't have to be a "skill" per se. It could just be someone you're more passionate about than others and are more knowledgeable about.
Having patience and keeping calm. Not necessarily a skill but is important for life. a lot of people seem to lack these qualities
That is definitely a skill and an important one. I'm not too good at it myself.
But there's a reason why they say the person who's able to remain calm in an argument is perceived as the winning one.

Most? Better than half the planet at? Probably lots of things. Better than most who participate in something? Guitar, vocals, chess, running, and surfing. I can play piano, but my lessons stopped whe I was 10 so not sure I am better than most pianists unless we include mere dabblers.
I was dealing with a network problem today. I was able to diagnose the problem and get a workaround in place so people could do their jobs. Then I was able to fix what was wrong. It was a pretty advanced issue and I was able to fix it.
I was really good at my old job. Like, REALLY good. Now that that part of my life is over, I'm trying to be the best cat daddy to my rescue kittens I can be.
