I work for a commercial cleaning company, and I clean the dmv that requires disarming the security alarm when I arrive and arming it when I leave. When I arm it it counts down from 60, and I have to get out the door before it counts down. Something weird happened today. When I disarmed it, it gave me a weird code, and said "trouble". I called the alarm company, and they said to reset it. So I did that, and it said "ready" and that's what it's supposed to say. But when I leave it for a while, it shows the code again, but it goes back to normal when I reset it. So when I left I armed the alarm. It counted down from 60 like usual, and then I went outside. I waited a minute and went back in and the alarm went off like it's supposed to so I disarmed it, and armed it again and went outside, so im pretty sure I did it right. I explained it to my boss and she said I did it right. I'm just afraid that someone is gonna break in and the alarm won't go off and they'll steal everything.

Dude I wouldn't worry about it too much. Sounds like just some glitch with the alarm system. As long as it worked properly when you left and you didn't notice any problems arming/disarming it, you're probably good. Your boss confirmed you did it right too. Maybe the alarm company can take a look and make sure everything's functioning okay, but I doubt anyone's gonna break in. Security systems sometimes act up for no reason. You followed all the steps so it's not your fault if the codes were weird. Chances are it's fine and an alarm tech can double check. I wouldn't stress yourself thinking about what ifs, you did your part. Just let the professionals deal with the system. Don't psych yourself out over it man!
1, no because alarm sounded like it's supposed to. 2, therefore no worry steal.
